Who doesn't love flowers? Aside from growing vegetables, all the communities have beautiful flowers in their gardens. We love to see the flowers start to bloom in the spring, providing splashes of colors. Besides enjoying their beauty outside, we also use the flowers for our chapels!
The waft of fragrant aromas and their simple beauty makes it easier to meditate on God and His goodness. "If even the smallest things are beyond your control, why are you anxious about the rest? Notice how the flowers grow. They do not toil or spin. But I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of them" (Luke 12:26-27).
