CMR St. Louis Silver Jubilee!

This past Labor Day weekend, the St. Louis CMR community was blessed to host the sisters from Irving, TX, Kansas City, MO, and Springfield, MO. We gathered together with the Most Reverend Bishop Mark Rivituso (Auxiliary Bishop for the Archdiocese of St. Louis) to celebrate a momentous milestone: 25 years of the establishment of the CMR Sisters in St. Louis, our silver jubilee!

A quarter of a century is an excellent time to celebrate God's blessings upon us, especially it is our US Region's formation community.  Many sisters have studied in the St. Louis Novitiate house, the place where the Holy Spirit molded them in their foundations of religious life.

The celebration started with the Holy Eucharist.   Bishop gave a lovely homily on the virtue of humility.  The Mass was followed by group photos, and then the feast.  The sisters had a wonderful time getting to know Bishop Rivituso and sharing our stories with each other.

As a commemoration of the CMR St. Louis' Silver Jubilee, a beautiful Italian-made St. Joseph statue was gifted to the community and blessed by the Bishop. St. Joseph is one of our beloved patron saints and through His intercession, we were able to find this lovely convent near St. Louis University and the Cathedral Basilica.  He is considered the "one of the two men" in the house so we continue to pray for his intercession to protect our community in the many years to come!
